Essential Job Functions
Process Improvement Initiatives
Drive down Donlen’s cost base and improve the customer experience by completing and supporting projects that streamline processes and reduce defects. Utilize data driven, fact based analytics to deliver results. Accountable to deliver repeatable, reliable, and scalable processes each year by working directly with Operations, Customer Experience and all other leadership teams.
Meet and exceed project deliverables, delivering cost savings, revenue generation, and customer and/or employee satisfaction improvements as specified by the business. Acting as a change agent, drive continuous improvement efforts in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.
Work cross-functionally with teams of business practitioners to identify and implement process improvements utilizing statistical and problem solving skills. Document and share best practices with other practices/offices.
Facilitate and promote problem-solving tools. Apply Lean Six Sigma Methodology through Certified Technicians: Definition, Measurement, Analysis, Implementation and Control. Deploy strategic goals and objectives into operational plans and improvement projects.
Acting as a Lean Six Sigma Coach
Provide technical assistance to Green and Yellow Belts along with all other business leaders as they apply Lean Six Sigma tools. Provide support to improve their data analysis skills, project management, presentation delivery and overall effectiveness. Communicate clear linkage from strategic initiatives to what individual contributors can do to impact Donlen results.
Coach, mentor, and train employees to establish a consistent level of quality, accuracy, accountability, and compliance of organizational standards. Assist in the development and implementation of Donlen’s quality assurance programs and policies, recommending revisions where necessary.
Lead by example, demonstrating ability to lead teams, effectively facilitate both classroom and virtual training, and provide one on one coaching to Green and Yellow Belts.

Drive the culture of continuous improvement; leading teams, providing training and support and acting as a resource to those with less problem-solving experience. Serve as a resource to the business, facilitating knowledge transfer and overseeing proper application of continuous improvement methodology and tools.
Serve as a positive advocate for organizational excellence principles, methods and tools, working to instill capability and a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Help leverage best practices across the business.
Foster and champion an environment that promotes trust, continuous improvement, innovation, quality outcomes and self-development. Foster open communication, that welcomes information sharing, seeks input from others and values diverse viewpoints.

This position operates in a matrixed environment. A person in this position must interact effectively throughout the organization to gain the authority to achieve his/her financial and project objectives. This position requires a high level of autonomy while retaining the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Capable of independently facilitating scope definition and project objectives.
Ability to understand Donlen’s business, apply knowledge and critical thinking skills in day-to-day problems and solutions. Ability to listen actively and communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing. Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgment and logic when solving problems and making decisions. Ability to plan, execute and improve work processes to ensure achievement of business objectives.
Positive attitude, excellent customer communications skills and the ability to act on own initiative with a strong commitment to customer service. Ability to relate well with others, build relationships and constructively interact with a variety of people and situations.
Ability to leverage data-driven metrics to build data collection plans, fine-tune measurement systems, perform relevant statistical analyses on datasets to identify root causes and prioritize solutions, identify the control data sets and plans, and put control plan into practice to measure results and project benefits.
Understand techniques for facilitating organizational change, removing roadblocks, performing constraint management, motivating and resolving conflicts. Have experience in handling multiple projects, drive bottom line results, and must be able to lead and develop teams and workgroups.
