The Hertz Corporation Brand Strategy Performance Manager in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Brand Strategy Performance Manager will report into the Senior Director Brand Marketing Performance Management and will be passionate about driving our rental car brand to success through continual data-driven insights and delivery of results-oriented and revenue-driving marketing campaigns. The focus will be coordination of data insights and reporting used to identify revenue segments and performance of marketing activities across varied platforms, segments, regions, and demographics. Ability to conceptualize data insights for reporting in real time as well as ad hoc reporting within areas identifying need. They will support the Brand Marketing Performance team in performance reporting to successfully capture market share and improve brand identity/awareness among rental car consumers. This is a position for those who love working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role will work closely with several teams within marketing including analytics, digital marketing, social media, ecommerce, customer loyalty, and business team members to capture the data needed to drive business decisions.


Mandatory Requirements

Position Summary

The primary mission of the Brand Performance Manager role is:

  • Develop and report cohesive view of brands across all revenue segments, customer demographics, booking channels, and product verticals

  • Identifying segment profitability

  • Report and track ROI for marketing campaigns, locations, and products

  • Apply P/L contribution working with finance to provide financially backed reporting, as well as identifying segments and/or channels underperforming and advise in near real time

  • Strong knowledge in modeling to determine/forecast results of marketing campaigns

  • Support team of data scientists in querying multiple databases/languages, extraction of data, optimize and grow teams coding skills, and provide automation support of KPI reporting

  • Track, prioritize, and manage analytics implementation initiatives across multiple teams; serve as contact for all analytics/tracking implementation requests

  • Strengthen relationships with vendors of measurement products, data platforms, visual analytics tools, and evaluate new tools and products to strengthen/support existing capabilities

  • Building partnership and trust with internal marketing teams, sales teams, finance department and external vendors to understand parameters of data and align with internal resources

  • Develop and implement consistent brand results measurement, robust industry and brand analytics and a focus on results to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI for the brand(s)

  • Stay current on market, competition, and trends including analyzing current marketing tactics, concepts, practices and procedures

  • Strong communication skills, advanced reporting capabilities to provide recommendations and observations from brand marketing campaigns

  • Incorporatecohesive ‘health’ view of brands across segments and channels with scheduled reporting on success, opportunities for improvements, ROI from marketing campaigns, and profitability of channels

  • Identify and build meaningful KPIs that represent a cohesive Brand Measurement scorecard and reporting. Ability to further identifying areas of weakness or growth in near real time to provide marketing campaigns feedback on success and areas for improvement

  • Identify correlations between segments, campaigns, airports, customer demographics to apply targeted feedback for results driven marketing

  • Develop, analyze, and implement plans to support brand strategy results

  • Work to establish business objectives, strategies, campaigns, and tactics that will successfully meet the financial plan

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in finance, economics, computer science, information systems, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience but degree preferred

Professional Experience

  • 5-7 years5-7 years of experience in Marketing or business process/strategy OR financial analysis, P/L reporting

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics using SQL, SAS, and/or Tableau

  • Travel Industry experience a plus

  • Finance/Forecasting experience a plus
