The Hertz Corporation Environmental & Fuel Programs Analyst in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

An Analyst in the Environmental and Fueling Programs Group is responsible for providinganalytical, technical and administrative activity work in support of the Environmental and Fueling operation of the business. The analyst will review various inspection and training reports to assist in the identification of compliance deficiencies, costs and process efficiencies, create specifications and coordinate with service providers.

The key responsibilities and accountabilities of an analyst in the Environmental and Fueling Programs Group are to:

  1. Generate and analyse inspections/reports from multiple database systems.

  2. Facilitate and track the resolution of relevant compliance deficiencies identified by various inspections/reports.

  3. Coordinate vendor activities, summarize bids and forward to stakeholders under the direction of the Fueling team.

  4. Assist Operations with service and information requests.

  5. Maintain records and distribution information as directed by the Environmental and Fueling Group.

  6. Assist in maintaining and tracking of all required regulatory compliance training for the business.

  7. Support the ongoing management and development of department best practices.

  8. Assist in the interface between internal departments to ensure continuity of delivery across the business.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • College Degree preferred or equivalent experience with 2+ years providing administrative support.

Professional Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in the environmental or regulatory compliance industry involving administrative support.

Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in the area of expertise.

  • Experience with underground/aboveground storage tank systems a plus

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written skills

  • Microsoft Office Software, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload

  • Highly organized
