General Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Zone Fleet Logistics Director manages fleet operations within a Zone to ensure maximum performance through disciplined execution of fleet objectives. They are responsible for maintaining transparency of information critical to daily fleet decisions to the organization and for collaborating with all necessary parties on the daily fleet availability/movement within the Zone across all brands. They will ensure tactical decisions meet the objectives of the strategic goals of the Zone.

Key Result Areas

Responsible for communicating fleet strategies to drive successful execution.

Develop Pool Fleet Managers and hold them accountable for executing strategies.

Responsible for defining tactical plans at the weekly level (Fleet Planning worksheet) that align with the strategic objectives of the Zone/Month fleet plan. Tactical levers include Additions, Deletions (Risk & Repurchase), Inter-Pool Moves and OAP Distro

Responsible for execution of the weekly tactical and monthly fleet plan objectives.

Responsible for maintaining Carsales inventory levels in keeping with strategic objectives.

Oversee all functions related to Asset Management (Inventory Control, No-Rev, Registrations, etc) within their Zone.

Collaborate with Operations to drive peak utilization in all pools

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in the car rental industry.

Professional Experience:

Experience in fleet, contribution or yield strategies. Prior management experience in the car rental industry preferred.
