The Hertz Corporation Subrogation Support Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

General Responsibilities

The Subrogation Support Specialist is responsible for billing new losses within 48 hours of assignment. Secure necessary information for carriers and credit card companies to accept loss. Notify all responsible party(s) of subrogation loss and send notices of loss with support documentation. Maintain clear, concise and factual notes. Review identified contract violations to verify if warranted. Responsible for ordering a copy of the police report to support the subrogation loss if warranted. All steps necessary to bill the loss should be completed at first touch. Ability to discern accounts with cash flow issues in order to minimize revenue exposure. Your communication skills are critical to your effectiveness in obtaining resolution of your accounts.

  1. Place proper focus on case documentation.

  2. Ensure accounts are called as scheduled and quotas maintained.

  3. Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with contacts.

  4. Maximize communication efforts to ensure customer satisfaction.

  5. Practice research techniques to ensure timely case resolution.

  6. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all billing activity.

  7. Develop a systematic approach for account reviews and calls.

  8. Include Customer Relations when addressing sensitive account issues.

  9. Include Hertz Sales when addressing sensitive account issues.

  10. Respond to inquiries within 24 hours to maintain customer service.

  11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Basic working knowledge with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Access

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills/experience

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Must be able to work well with others

  • Must be attentive to detail

  • Must be an independent worker and able to work with minimal supervision

  • High school Diploma or G.E.D.

  • Criminal background check due to access to Personal identifiable Data (PID)
